For KKOKO, music is more than a dream. It is a mission she is working toward every day.
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and now based in the Dallas, Texas area, KKOKO is an emerging rap artist with the drive to turn passion into purpose. Her journey started early, inspired by car rides with her father where rap music played and she would recite the lyrics word for word. Those moments helped shape her love for hip-hop and gave her an early connection to rhythm, confidence, and storytelling.
After relocating to Dallas, KKOKO began taking music more seriously. She started writing her own lyrics and practicing over “type” beats, using every session as a chance to sharpen her voice and build her sound. Rooted in trap and Southern hip-hop, her music carries energy, ambition, and the hunger of an artist determined to grow.
What makes KKOKO stand out is her mindset. She is not chasing music for a quick moment. She wants to create a lasting career built on authenticity, hard work, and connection. Her goal is to make music that motivates people, inspires them to chase their dreams, and reminds them to stay true to themselves.
With her single “Certified” and EP Certified, KKOKO has already started laying the foundation. She has performed at Roc Nation Summer Academy in New York, appeared at showcases in Dallas and Oklahoma City, and co-hosted an episode with Pirscription of Private Hip Hop Podcast in Waco, Texas.
KKOKO is still evolving, but her ambition is clear. She is building step by step, turning real experiences into music and proving that her hustle is just beginning.
